No. For guest-pays campaigns, donations go directly to the charity's own secure page. For host-pays, you donate directly after your event using the split report Kindly generates.
When does the charity receive funds?
Immediately for guest-pays campaigns. For host-pays, the host donates after the event on their own timeline — Kindly provides the split breakdown.
Is this tax deductible?
Tax receipts come directly from the charity you donate to. Kindly provides confirmation emails, but official tax documentation comes from the nonprofit.
How are charities verified?
Every charity on Kindly is a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We prioritize organizations with strong ratings from Charity Navigator, and link directly to their official donation pages for transparent giving.
